White House declares war on author Ron Suskind

Again. This time it's over his new book, The Way of the World, in which Suskind claims the WH ordered the CIA to forge a back-dated, handwritten letter from the head of Iraqi intelligence to Saddam Hussein.
Back in 2004, Bush officials accused Suskind of fabricating a quote for a New York Times Magazine in which Bush, late in his re-election campaign, privately assured donors that in 2005 he would announce plans for the "privatising of social security." Which, of course, is exactly what Bush did in 2005.
