Profiling sitcom actresses for entertainment magazine. (Can't say we're surprised.)

If we take up a (large) collection, do you think we can convince Graydon Carter to bring MoDo on staff at VF, which would open up a slot on the NYT Op-Ed page for somebody who, y'know, is actually interested in politics and American governance?

      While I would rather have MoDo not writing political commentary, I have to quote a friend of mine about the Fey piece: 

      A political writer who writes like a second-rate showbiz writer turns out not to be a very good showbiz writer. What a surprise.

      Not to mention that it was a pretty obnoxiously dumb profile of a very smart and interesting woman in showbusiness that instead focused way too much on her looks/clothes/sex appeal.
