Rush Limbaugh, Scholar

March 02, 2009 11:45 am ET by Jamison Foser

During his CPAC speech, Rush Limbaugh said conservatives "believe that the preamble to the Constitution contains an inarguable truth that we are all endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, among them life, Liberty, Freedom. And the pursuit of happiness."

Conservatives may believe that, but it just isn't so.  The language Limbaugh was referring to actually appears (more or less; he made some changes) in the Declaration of Independence.

And you can BET that no media outlets without the courage of MMFA, HuffPo or anyone in netroots will touch that.

Take one of our favs: Politico.com. They LOVE this kind of "gaffe"-iness. They will post baloney about Obama or Biden and link to Drudge about any Dem comment that is incorrect.

But will you see anything about Rush the Untouchable? Doubt it.

Biden couldn't immediately remember a factoid (which after a few moments, he did remember), and the MSM (especially Fox) was all over his latest "gaffe".

The only specified assertion he made during his CPAC speech and he got is WRONG.  Awesome.

So.  Joe Biden can gaffe, but Rush cannot.  Pretty sure Michelle Malkin won't touch this with a seventy-five-hundred-mile pole.

Malkin??? Of course not, that is a no-brainer. The others that like to call themselves "maintream" will also not touch it: FNC, CNN, Politico, et. al.

I mostly brought up Malkin since she was so vociferous about Biden's "recovery.gov" mishap.  But yes, FNC will act as if they lost the satellite feed on that news.

Should we be surprised?  The leader of the GOP is an uneducated propagandist who never toils with trivial matters like facts and reality.

Must have been part of the curriculum that he missed when he dropped out of that "liberal" higher education ...

That first post was hilarious.  Biden is a walking disaster waiting to happen and Obama will make Bush look like a penny pincher within a year.  (This is the disclaimer that I always post.  I was not a Bush fan).  How can CNN and MSNB, etc. keep you in the dark with those points?
