World Net Daily columnist compares Obama to spousal abuser, while calling abused women "dunderhead[s]"

From Prelutsky's March 4 World Net Daily column:
Judging by the early days of his administration, I have had to re-evaluate him. He's even worse than I feared. It's been one disaster after another. His appointments have been a series of embarrassments. His hard sell of the Pelosi-Reid trillion dollar earmark makes him look like the worst sort of fear monger. And, considering the fact that he was sold to us as eloquent and a fellow who could think on his feet, his use of a teleprompter at his press conference reminded me of the Wizard of Oz, the con man behind the curtain. I guess you can take the man out of Chicago, but you can't take Chicago out of the man.
Frankly, I don't know why anybody continues to hold Obama in high esteem. Maybe it's like those women who marry charming fellows only to discover after the vows have been exchanged that he's an abuser. In spite of the black eyes and split lips, the ladies are just too embarrassed to call the cops and have their friends and relatives discover what a dunderhead they've been.
A tip from reader A.B. helped to contribute to this clip. Thanks and keep them coming.

This is just more proof that right-wingers are indeed misogynistic pigs who do not take spousal abuse seriously. Rather, these pigs would rather make sad and pathetic analogies about such a serious crime. Why do radical righties always fail at making a decent analogy? Is this a side effect of their lobotomy?
Egads, for grins I strolled over to WND. That website makes Coulter look completely sane. They are even pathetic enough to be heavily pushing the thoroughly debunked birth certificate claim. Apparenlty they missed the latest news as well
The use of a teleprompter is the latest radical right talking point. I'm sure it has roots on faux or drudge or some other propaganda outlet. Hence, the unhinged right will attempt to use it at all costs. Hence, with their other failed talking points, I'm sure the rant will go something like "Obama, the communist socialist, is not a US citizen hence he has to use a teleprompter so he doesn't accidentally blurt out athetist statements because he's also a Muslim...and a uber super socialst".
I would guess the use of a teleprompter makes him "shady', as shady as the Chicago roots he has? Quite a stretch.
Or maybe they are referring to the fact that the Wizard of Oz's author, L. Frank Baum, once lived in Chicago while writing the WofO?
What is the deal about teleprompters? Bush could have used them to avoid his terrible delivery (oh yeah, he did most of the time! Oops.).
Teleprompters are just notes held in a more viewable angle. Listening to Obama, it is clear that he isn't just reading text. But why would any pundit want him stumbling around when he is explaining complicated issues? How is clarity, misleading or undesirable?
As to his appointments, I'm glad they are an embarrassment to this writer. If they met his approval, I would worry. The fact that some of these people had tax issues is a sad commentary on several fronts. One being that the tax code is vague and allows too much wiggle-room (not a bad thing when you are a private citizen. not so good when you get a presidential appointment). Second, everybody feels overtaxed and tries to avoid it, even to the point of relying on the IRS to "come and get it" costing millions in enforcement and audit expenses. Third, the press bias is so clear here in light of many years of GOP offenders.
Maybe Obama will help develop a true patriotism in this country so that people begin to trust the government, respect our country, and feel good about contributing our fair share in hard work, good citizenship and paying our share of taxes without bitching about it. Unlikely.
The GOP is populated with the people that want an environment for them to succeed on the shoulders of others, then claim superiority over those same people, and without a progressive tax code, so that those same people whose work has made them successful will be burdened with a greater relative percentage of the costs of society. After all, isn't being financially successful the American dream? And those with less financial success are losers who don't deserve healthcare, education, decent housing, etc., etc...
All negative Obama all the time with the press. That has been MMFA's primary point since Nov.
Inside the DC echo chamber, which is dominated by insider right-leaning types, Obama represents a new face and new approach that has them completely flummoxed.
After 28 years of an election-winning formula of tax cuts for the rich, supply-side trickle-down economics, cronyism in govt and socially conservative stances, all of a sudden Obama comes along and tries to do things differently.
And STILL his poll numbers are throught the ROOF! The MSM can't stand it and will put a mic and headline out there with any silly opposition or negative Obama message they can canjore up.
Plus, with negative Obama coverage, they will not be called Butt Boy by Rush and tracked down by O'Reilly. Don't underestimate the fear the media has of those 2 vile haters.
It's amazing. Bush looked like a deer in headlights during his conferences, and not a peep. Obama looks more composed, so now the teleprompter is a tool of the socialist Obama regime.
The pundits and conservatives will never be happy. They will pout and grimace and fingerpoint. Please PLEASE ignore them, Mr. President. They will spin anything you do into a conspiracy.
This just shows how the RIGHT can't handle being out of power. It is killing them.
