It seems one can't turn on cable news these days without hearing the terms Communist, Socialist or Marxist thrown around. Day and night, conservatives in the media have attempted to link President Obama and progressives to these terms. Keep in mind, the right has been doing this with progressive health care reform (the "socialized medicine" smear) for more than 75 years.
Beginning today, County Fair will bring you the daily Red Scare Index -- our search of CNN, CNN Headline News, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, MSNBC and CNBC for uses of the following terms: Socialism, Socialist, Socialistic, Communism, Communist, Communistic, Marxism and Marxist.

Great, I love it! And look who's way out front as the #1 commie hunter in the media: Fox News Channel!
I know what they can do, something with real teeth, to tear into those commies: reform the House Un-American Activities Committee, HUAC!
Except this modern version should be the Joint House and Senate Un-American Activities Committee, JHSUAC!
It would have 6 Senators and 6 Representatives, all Republicans, and one Senator and one Representative would each be Co-Chairs...
And whenever important Leglislative matters came before Congress for a vote, we'd send the JHSUAC out into some pumpkin patch, to randomly search pumpkins for hidden micro-film!
It would accomplish two things at least: it would get 6 Republican Senators out of the way during the vote in question, and 2. it would scare the red poop out of Alger Hiss's grandchildren!
Yup, faux and that "fair and balanced" reporting [sic]. More undeniable proof that faux is a propaganda outlet.
Yep, this dog-and-pony-Show-Monty-Python-Flying-Circus ain't over until we get some investigations going!
