How do you plan to assess a "trend". Are you going to use a parametric or semi-parametric test? Are you going to normalize the data? Will you assess power before running your tests to determine your threshold for significance? Are you going to consider confounding or effect modification?
Not manually! I was going to run it through a data mining engine.
