  I like the response about Bush recruiting jews of baptists for positions. Not only did he do that, he gave preference to people with little to no experience in the positions that were hired for, as long as they went to 2nd, or 3rd rate evangelical law schools that preach God's law, over, you know, US law. Not only was he not pilloried in the press, we heard barely a peep about it.
  
  The other response, the leading one, about this is making me uneasy about this administration. Why? Why does it? There are plenty of practitioners of Islam in this country, and there are plenty of practitioners of Islam in this country currently in the military, defending our country, fighting, and dying. What makes you uneasy about Muslims serving our President? I thought we were accepting of all religious faiths and practices. Aren't we?

    Quite interesting how you capitalize the words Islam and Muslim but not Jews or Baptists. Interesting but not surprising. And do you have any basis to support Bush hiring anyone because they were specifically a Jew or a Baptist and that they were unqualified to boot. Were you as concerned about Pres Obama's qualifications to be president?

      Everyone Bush hired on needed only one qualification - to have unwavering and unquestioning loyalty to the men in the Oval Office (Bush/Cheney) no matter the consequences for the American public. Condi being black and Gonzo being hispanic was just a side benefit for his "look, I hire minorities too" propoganda.

  There were some better selections that got between 1 and 0% of the votes.
  Accepting of all religious faiths? What about the Flying Spagetti Monster?
  Anyway its like saying, I support the sanctity of life, or, I'm not a racist but.
