Bill O'Reilly's ambush tactics reached new lows when Jesse Watters, King of the Ambushing Producers chased down blogger Amanda Terkel at Think Progress while she was on vacation. What makes these tactics even more despicable is the fact that Bill O'Reilly is sending his minions to his victims' homes, vacation spots, parking lots -- you name it -- just to fulfill the odious mission of being smear mercenaries.
And his motives are all too clear: REVENGE. He even violates his own 'ambush policy' regarding these intimidation practices.
Of course, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann has provided a hands on training for dealing with an ambush from O'Reilly should you ever face one yourself.
And don't forget Jon Stewart's recent take on O'Reilly's ambushiness from Comedy Central's The Daily Show:
O'Racist's penchant for stalking and harassing the Left is not only down-right creepy, but is simply quite pathetic and desperate. Any sane human sees that simple fact. But what is even more deplorable is that with all problems in the country and the world, that O'Racist spends time and effort stalking, across state lines, a progressive blogger because she had the nerve to expose his idiocy. O'Racist is in desperate need of a 'reality check'.
Olbermann's strategy won't work-- they'll just cut the sound and show the visuals.
Has anyone pressed charges here against BOR? Why not? I suspect because nothing he does approaches the level of harassment-- after all, it's a reporter's job to pursue people-- and when people respond, they lose the right to complain.
Guys-- let's drop this piffle against O'Reilly-- there's bigger fish to fry. It just puts liberals on their level of shallowness. And Olbermann is the last person in the world who should be casting stones here:
