Norm Coleman's a sore loser. Why won't the press say so, cont'd

April 10, 2009 2:12 pm ET by Eric Boehlert

The Brad Blog raises a good point, in terms of the ongoing Coleman/Franken coverage:

We'd ask not why the media fail to describe Coleman as a "sore loser", but rather, why it is that --- particularly since Tuesday's final count of any remaining, lawfully cast, previously uncounted absentee ballots --- the media fail to describe Coleman as the loser at all, much less a sore one.

It's true. The press won't even come out and say Coleman lost the election, even though the state, and courts, of Minnesota have unequivocally announced that Franken got more votes. Last time we checked that meant Coleman lost.

Go read the whole item.  Along with the press critique, there's lots of interesting legal details regarding the state of Coleman's recount challenge.

If the situation was reversed, the inept reich-wing MSM would be skewering Franken 24/7.  The insults, slurs, and smears tossed at Franken would be deafening.

Congrats Senator Franken on your victory nontheless.

I have a bad feeling about this. If it goes to SCOTUS, it's going to be a 5-4 vacation of the election. So get ready.
