There seems to be an aversion to using the word " waterboarding ' to describe one form of torture. Maybe it is because it is a war crime ? as opposed to your parents " torturing you " while a teen ager ? Using the word ' torture ' when describing / reporting things a government authorises, is far too dismissive for people who achieved national media status. The more critical members of the news consumers expect more than just drivel to fillup a 24/7 cycle..
