      She was appointed by a Republican president to the court of appeals. Hopefully that will be included in their smears of her.

      Let's see if we can define "activist" jurist as per the conservatives...

      Activist Jurist (Judge): One who does not rule on issues as conservatives would like for them to rule.

      It's really that simple. I'm sure if the court were to overturn Roe V Wade, somehow that wouldn't be activist, that would just and right, never mind obliterating you know, many years of precedence. I'm pretty sure that republicans would have called say, de-segregation activist, and they probably did. I'm just too lazy to look it up right now.

        The supreme court giving themselves the right to appoint the president in 2000 never even enters their minds. I know that fits your qualifications but in Minnesota they can't seat a senator after eight months because of bending over backwards to placate republicans.
