CNN invents a "backlash"

May 27, 2009 5:07 pm ET by Jamison Foser

CNN's Ed Henry and David Gergen discussing Barack Obama raising money for Harry Reid:

Henry: The jetsetting could fuel a backlash.

Gergen: I think most Americans feel that he's got his hand full with problems back in Washington, why is he out raising money?

Oh, come on.  There is no sigifnicant number of Americans who might otherwise like Barack Obama who are upset that he's raising money for Harry Reid.  Which is probably why neither Henry nor Gergen mentioned any such person.  This is completely contrived.

Geezuz, it is almost as if the MSM give Obama no credit at all for having the mental capacity to handle 2 things at once!

Everything he does that is not directly related to the economy can cause a "BACKLASH".

More contrived MSM trying to create conflict and start trouble where there is none.

Whuuh?!? Barack Obama has the ability to walk and chew gum at the same time?!?!?! Um, wasn't that an amazing revelation last year during the campaign when Obama said "No, I'm not going to agree to cancel our debate just because the economy is in crisis"? How many times does the guy have to establish that he's capable of multi-tasking?

Too bad the one area where he's just too busy with other priorities to act is in advancing the LGBT agenda he promised when he campaigned, and Robert Gibbs even advanced that tired excuse on his behalf.

The clock is ticking and the natives are growing restless.

CNN's on air talent has fueled a backlash. Not perceived, but actual, just look at your ratings.
