After all, the last thing we want to do is become more respected in the world.

Someone needs to apologize to the world for putting a the emotional equivalent of a six-year-old in charge of US policy for eight years. Why not Obama? It's the sort of thing an adult would do.

I vaguely remember, as a young lad, being taught that apologizing for doing wrong was very important. My parents made it clear that it was about being accountable and responsible, and that it was an important part of becoming an adult. And I had to say it like I meant it, without rolling my eyes.

No wonder the rightys hate it so much.

True - thanks to the bunch whose knobs Fox spent eight years polishing, there is a lot of apologizing that needs doing.

Mind you, no matter what Obama does or says, these cretins will find a way to spin it as a bad thing.

Thing is, he isn't even gone yet, and they're already decrying what he's doing.

Preemptive complaints seems to be a mark of recent wingnut rhetoric. Blends in well with their well known mind reading powers.
