Fox News and Obama as the Muslim Manchurian Candidate

Just in case folks missed this Fox News clip from yesterday, it's quite extraordinary and deserves a view, especially the part where Jim Pinkerton basically suggests that if Obama wins re-election, he'll finally out himself as a Muslim.

I kid you not. That's the premise Pinkerton is pushing on national television; that Obama kept his Muslim roots hidden during the campaign, but that signs of it are starting to show now, and when he's safely elected he'll finally feel comfortable practicing Islam out the open.

Behold the 'mainstream' conservative movement in America!

BTW, also in the clip, Cal Thomas declares that he's embarrassed to say he's a journalist because the press won't question anything Obama does. Funny, we never thought of Thomas as a journalist in the first place; more like a human GOP talking point. And if Thomas can post all the columns he wrote between 2000 and 2008 that questioned anything Bush did, we'd sure like to give them a look.

      You are such a tool bag:

      I've been waiting for the Muslim Manchurian angle. It took a little longer than I thought, considering the breathlessness of the campaign. I expect this to catch on and rule the airwaves of the right for a while.

        I predict by the year's end that the librul MSM will start giving prime time coverage to the birthers as well.

        The backlash from all this is having to deal with the fallout and head nodding from the actual follower believer sheep of this claptrap. You have to be talking about and to the looniest bigots out there, and I'd love to see the emails that Fox gets and who has to go through them (I'm picturing a Winston Smith type).

        Already O'Reilly has had to answer for his demogoguery. But I can just imagine when the rest of Fox propagandists go out and take their large speaker fees, who they have to meet, in both the organizers and the fringe. How do you like your thirty pieces of silver now?

        Actually, it surfaced back during the election, and I take personal offense. The 1962 Manchurian Candidate is one of my favorite movies with Angela Lansbury playing the original mother from hell.

      Cal Thomas has had no standing to call himself a journalist for almost 30 years now. He should be embarrassed to call himself a journalist.
