I do not agree with Savages edict, but where was the outrage a few weeks back when ABC posted the pictures and towns where the Lawyers who approved interrogation techniques? They may have children who could have been killed from some crazed radical as well. Also, when Cheny was leaving office in January they had his address and pictures of his home posted on the net. This outrage should be for ALL.

I'd sure like to see where ABC said that those lawyers should be shown how they like it.

The threat is real in Weiner's case. ABC never threatened not implied a threat to those lawyers.

Nice try but that baloney doesn't work here.

But these were lawyers employed by US taxpayers. They were public employees, acting in an official capacity. Doesn't the public have the right to know who they are? If they do not personally stand by the advice we taxpayers paid them to provide, they can always recant.

Could we stick with Savage and his threats? There is no equivalence here between what Savage is doing and what ABC did. Thanks.

Mr Savage seems to be full of Rage.
He should just leave Media-Matters alone and turn the page.
If you are looking for a fight pick on Mr News.

I don't think the authorities could act on it at this point...

Although they may be monitoring the situation.

If Sewage was stupid enough to post, say, addresses and phone numbers of Media Matters employees on his website, that perhaps could be considered as Mr. Sewage fomenting violence and terrorism against Media Matters employees.

        Depends what Sewage does.

Weiner is one step away from an indictment. His rant is intimidation. I believe there are laws against that!

      From wikipedia:

Intimidation (also called cowing) is intentional behavior "which would cause a person of ordinary sensibilities" fear of injury or harm. It's not necessary to prove that the behavior was so violent as to cause terror or that the victim was actually frightened.[1] "The calculated use of violence or the threat of violence to attain goals political, religious, or ideological in nature...through intimidation, coercion, or instilling fear" can be defined as terrorism.[2]

Well well well.... Weiner is a terrorist!

        He "can't handle the truth"!

What was that movie? A Few Good Men

Right wingers rely on lies to hammer their warped messages home. Without the protection of ignorance, their audiences will dwindle. So Media Matters is a direct assault on their ability to make money. They'll take this to all extremes.

        Expect more.

The Weinerdog is insane. That goes without saying. He, however, is not stupid. Even HE knows the garbage he shovels makes him look bad when disseminated outside the inbred pool of his brainwashed, braindead psychophants. When exposed to actual reasoned adults it makes him look like the loon he is

Feel like telling the CNN interviewer...do you home work goober. Then you wouldn't ask such hypocritic questions. How about you read Media Matters first so you have something to base your questions on. (Or would the interview then not be allowed)

I happened upon Weiner (Savage) a couple of months ago driving home from Cincinnati -- late night and nothing else on the air. Wanting to stay awake, I didn't turn off the radio. If one put Savage, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Lindsey Graham (yes, I'm sorry), and any other white, male (ooops Anne Coulter), and other hate-spewing individuals in a cage with each other...none of would survive. Why? Because each violently hates anyone who does not look the same, smell the same, or believe the same as they.

It's appalling, disgusting, and extremely disheartening.

This country is far beyond the bias each spews and, if they don't like where they are, they need to move elsewhere. They certainly do not represent the majority of folks in the USA.

I'm 60, a Mom, and a Grandmom; I was raised in an EXTREMELY bigoted, hateful, vengeful, and narrow-minded family. The N-word was tossed around at Sunday supper like a football. One can change, avoid, reconsider, or negate the influences one is exposed to. It's a choice, a strength, and an open-mindedness.

Savage Weener is threatening Media Matters by trying to make them a target for extremists rather than just listing or talking about what exactly it is he objects to. Does he not like being quoted (with his own voice for the right inflection) or having listed his remarks. It's almost as if he is complaining "If you listen to what I said and tell anybody I'm gonna try to get you damaged".

It's not like anyone is making stuff up about him or lack evidence to support what they are saying about him, yet his response to anyone who makes him angry is "I'm going to put up your picture and address everywhere in hopes that some fringe looney will do you harm" is an irresponsible and dangerous little temper tantrum that should cost him his broadcast license.

I suppose wanting to have his tongue ripped out is too violent a response but one begins to appreciate the sounds of silence after listening to one of his rants...just saying.

      .
So, let's post pictures of his house, with address. His car, with license plate. His family. And his Social Security Number, date & place of birth, daily schedule. Office, fax, home & cell phone numbers. Private email addresses. Michelle Malkin, too. And Bill O'Reilly. All of 'em.

Conservatives deserve to be treated the way they treat other people. Let's try it and see if it influences their behavior.

Doesn't this come under the heading of cyberstalking?
