And to show their disgust at govt waste they barbequed, drank beer and watch a fireworks display.

Not to mention bought tea to wave and decorate themselves with and never drank it, throwing it out at the end of the day. I bet most of these people never bought tea before the tea parties.

I'm going to throw a "Republicans Are Scumbag Losers" Party that coincidences at the same time and location of the next Superbowl. I'll proudly boast about the hundreds of thousands that were in attendance.

They showed up for the free firework display. Most of them probably didn't know anything about the tea party aspect.

Firsthand accounts on Daily Kos stated that it was a few thousand during their anti-Obama and anti-government rallies. Most of the rest showed up for the fireworks. Apparently, the entertainment was headlined by Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees. I kid you not.

Yeah, here's the crowd during the actual rally. The organizers claimed it was the heat that kept the daytime crowd away, rather the fireworks generating the evening crowd. What. Ever.

Did he ever learn to play the drums?
I admit to liking The Monkees in the original. Its been noted that the show had a group of semi crasy people running arround without adult supervision.
Studio musicians performing the hits and recording them was not an unusual thing throughout the sixties.

Oh yah, on topic. Not a lot of participation compared to the last teabag party. More fringe right wing types stepping up to the fading limelight as the larger dogs take a break from all their barking.

That same concept is now known as "Fox News."

He did learn although he only played drums on 1 of their studio albums.

I'm more than willing to bet that they turned out 35000, for the fireworks portion of the program, NOT for the Tea Party monkey business.

Isn't it odd. Back in April, they didn't have a good turnout because it was raining. And now, in Texas, small turnout because it was hot.

Which leads me to believe that they aren't really that concerned about much of anything because if they were, they'd show up, good, bad, or hot weather.

Frauds. It's basically a semi medium sized gathering of concern trolls.

So if I hold my tiny little piddly event in some dusty corner of the next Olympics I can claim that 3+ million people came to my event?

Listen up, Fox, this could be the next big thing in the manipulation of figures.

Well, we are talking about folks that think a five-four Supreme Court decision is the same thing as nine-zero.

          It's that fuzzy math...

My abacus tell me different. I even used the metric system and no, 5-4 isn't 9-0.

35,000 - steers maybe (just maybe)... . 35,000 people - no way. I drove past the event on the 4th and I can report to this Fox Nation that media + live stock out number actual participants.

.. Now that sounds kinda racist to me.. I guess.. well.. are camels bad?

I heard the crowd was at 37,000. They all showed up at the same time for the fireworks display, not for any tea party.

In Pittsburgh, over 200,000 showed up for my SUPPORT OBAMA rally at Point State Park. And many of them were Republicans. Therefore, numerous Republicans support President Obama.
This was an unplanned rally but word of mouth got the crowd there.
People were informed that there would not be a ZAMBELLI Fireworks display and they still showed up. Where was the MEDIA coverage? Where was Fox news? Where was Hannity to cover this massive pro-Obama rally?

P.S. It is true, there was no ZAMBELLI fireworks display advertised...although, I will admit, for the record, that another Fireworks company was used...but that has nothing to do with honesty. People showed up and when certain fireworks were shot into the air, the crowd, in unison, said OOOOO Bam AHH

Yes, and Rick Perry wasn't booed; they were all saying "Ooooooh" to the fireworks.
