I can think of a few Catholic Priest jokes to throw in here, but I'd rather rag on Sarah Palin...

What sort of garbage is this? What were these two nitwits thinking - the Pope was gonna burn Obama at the stake for being pro-choice?

Hate to be judgemental but... seeing the pics of the two writers of this idiotic piece tell me they are fresh out of school. From whom did they get their journalism degrees... the ice cream man?

Sure do. They just aren't of the Edward R. Murrow variety, that's all.

It creeps me out whenever I see a woman work for any aspect of Fox News, even if its of the 23 year old paycheck scamming variety.

Well, the Pope may have been a Hitler youth but I'm sure he isn't dangerous now...

Watch how carefully most of the mainstream media, not just FOX News, focus on the abortion and stem cell issues and avoid mentioning (in the context of the Obama visist), let alone discussing, the Pope's recent encyclical on the global economy.

I hate to sound cynical, and I hope I am proven wrong, but so far, the usual pattern appears to be holding (from what little coverage I have seen).

Of course this NEWSWEEK blog entry avoided discusssing any substance whatsoever, so there was no mention of the editorial in the official Vatican newspaper not too long ago which was seen as somewshat sympathetic towards Obama (and which showed more understanding of his abortion and stem cell policies than most American conservatives seem to possess).
In effect, the editorial said that Obama's policies on these issues had not been as extreme as they could have been, or as extreme as the Vatican had been led to expect.

      Hello Media Matters People:
This is my first time writing in, so bear with me.
I wanted to direct your attention to the blatant racism that is propagated on FoxNation. Since this is MM's latest FN article, I went here.
Specifically, I'd like you to look at two articles:
"Obama Apologizes at G8 for America's 'Carbon Footprint'"
"Obama Invokes African Cousin, but Won’t Get Him a Job"
(The second one is particularly egregious).
I've posted on FN for weeks, and enjoyed bringing truth, logic, facts, to the knuckleheads there. I can deal with disagreement and their paranoid hysteria. I deal with childish name-calling, But this is different. It's getting ugly over there. They are unabashedly calling President Obama "Chimp in Chief," and "baboon." They talk about his supposed hatred of "whitey."
It's getting disgusting. Is there a way this site can monitor them and expose their racism?
