And the teabaggers find a new low to sink to...agreeing with a tax-evading liar. Congrats.

Joe the plumber not only wasn't right, his name wasn't Joe and he wasn't a plumber.

And "NewsBusters" doesn't "bust" anything, and has nothing to do with actual news, so I guess Not-News-Not-Busters and Not-Joe the Not-Plumber have a lot in common. They're both obvious frauds.

I dont see RICH folks like Oprah and Bill Gates out there a Tea Baggin' over paying more taxes. Hmmmmmmmm I must of missed $20 million a movie couple Brad and Angelina with their crew of children yelling complaints of high taxes and socialism at the last round of Tea Baggin' Festivals.

Its a sad day in America when some "common" folks look up to a person like Joe the NonPlumber as a voice of reason:(

The Rich Republicans who created the think tanks to come up with this crap don't have to say a word about their "tax burden". They've duped the working class Troglodytes into doing it for them.

It's really sad to see hard working people who will NEVER make more than $60,000 a year protesting on behalf of billionaires.

The only possible correct answer to the question is in fact 'Other'. I wonder if Newsbusters took this into account when they framed the question. Perhaps it's the only way they can find out what the definition of Socialism actually is.

One would think that, but no. Over at Newsbusters of the 1875 people that have taken the poll so far only 13 have answered other and 36 have answered No.

I think I saw a report that people making 300,000 would pay about $1000 in extra taxes to fund this program. Boo F***ing Hoo. How ever will they survive?

Do you really think taxing people making over 250,000 is going to put a dent in the health care bill? We're approaching debt that we'll never be able to pay off. The one honest thing Obama has said is we have no money left. This insanity has to stop.

I like that even the 'No" option is worded to drive the trained rats to click 'yes". Not that there's anything wrong with the "greater good" idea to rational people, but it's the type of Commie-code that causes foamy mouths to the average Newsbusters reader.

BTW, it's objectively impossible for the "yes" answer to be either factually correct or a reasonable opinion, as Sam the Sham never was able to settle his conflicting positions on the tax issue.UNless somebody can explain to me how somebody can disagree with themselves and be right. It seems logically impossible to me.

And that $1000 more in taxes means those people will not "create" jobs.

It's worth noting that the headline on this one is a bit off. It's probably just someone not taking the time to read/rephrase clearly, but the question isn't whether taxing the rich will pay for 'national healthcare socialism', the question is whether taxing the rich in order to pay for national healthcare is, or is not, socialism.

If we're going to take people to task (and we should) for their idiocy, it's best we not look like idiots when we do it.

I hate to tell you but I am almost sure tht you have completely misinterpreted that question. I don't think they meant "National Healthcare Socialism" as one thing. I believe they are asking:

      "Is

[ taxing 'the rich' to pay for national healthcare ]

      [ Socialism ]

      ?"

      or expanding it a bit,

      "Is

[ (the idea of) taxing 'the rich' to pay for national healthcare ]

(equal to, or an example of,)

      [ Socialism ]?"

lmao... way to give a fake plumber credit for supposedly being right about something for the first time in his life.

a little bit off topic, but i saw a post on newsbusters from today criticizing keith olbermann for getting the name of the free republic's founder wrong when he put him in his WPITW. isnt newsbusters' job to crack down on the EVIL librul media? i guess they are at their best doing that by bashing someone for getting someone else's name wrong. good one.
