As Washingtonpost.com tries to manufacture some Sotomayor drama
July 16, 2009 8:49 am ET by Eric Boehlert
Does anybody think this featured photo, complete with the caption "Judge Sonia Sotomayor endures a third day confirmation hearings," accurately reflects Wednesday's rather low-key proceedings?
Didn't think so.

UPDATED: The above photo of Sotomayor is actually of her laughing at the hearings, not enduring them. From the AP caption for the exact same image:
Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor holds her head when questioned about the television show 'Perry Mason' by Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn, Wednesday, July 15, 2009, during her confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Capitol Hill in Washington
And yes, Franken's 'Perry Mason' quip elicited lots of chuckles.

"How long do I have to continue to be cordial to these f-ing MORONS?"
After reading some of your posts, specifically the one on Ron Fournier, it appears that you are slanted against conservatives.
I understand that you are an editor, but in general, why is the media editorializing almost every story?
Reporting is supposed to be just that - reporting of the facts. Not some soapbox to cover up for politicians, sway public opinion, or ignore reporting on a story because it is not in the favor of your preferred candidate.
Granted, there are some conservative reporters that do the same thing, but it seems that a predominate amount of the media are just PR people for Democrats and liberal rhetoric.
Would you please write an editorial explaining why the media has this love affair with the left agenda?
Regards.
