Kurtz: "Mel Martinez (duh)" will support Sotomayor's nomination

Howard Kurtz Olympia Snowe and Richard Lugar say they'll vote for Sotomayor, plus Mel Martinez (duh). Wonder how many other Repubs will take the plunge

It appears Howie thinks Mel votes on the basis of race. How many "duh"s did Howie note when Roberts got white Dems to vote for him? Another case of a white, middle aged man having no clue how stupid he makes himself look by simply typing three letters. And how out of touch they are with regular folks. Not the rednecks in middle America but everyone but the rednecks in middle America. It is like the last 40 years went right over their heads and they never noticed it.

Exactly. I don't suppose that Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) agreed and supported former Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez simply because of their shared heritage.

Say, "Kurtz" is a Germanic name. Does that mean that he shares the political mindset of certain Germans, who shall remain nameless? That's silly, of course, but no sillier than Kurtz is being here.

Apparently, all minorities think alike and take care of their own, right Kurtz?

Just like Alito and Scalia took care of fellow Italian-American Ricci...

      Wait...what?

He's just following the lead of Sen. Sessions, who was unable to wrap his tiny little mind around Sotomayor's failure to vote with her "fella Porta-Rickan"...
