On Twitter, Dobbs continues birth certificate questions, attacks on "left wing media" trying to "silence" him"

Oh the poor victim. He's only on the air 3-4 hours a day. His free speech is being denied him.

Hey Lou, first of all, this again, isn't a freedom of speech thing. How is having a radio show, and a TV show a freedom of speech right? As has been explained a million times, it's not one of our rights. Nobody is trying to silence you.

What we are trying to do is to get you removed from the air for irresponsible journalism, and reporting. You're of course free to spout your nonsense via the internet, as you are doing here, and nobody is going to stop that.

Your freedom of speech is only taken away from you when government makes laws abridging that freedom.

The reich-wing have yet to answer one simple question: Why exactly does it matter if the doctor and hospital doesn't appear on Obama's legal and certified Certification of Birth?

I guess everyone that works at CNN as a reporter or producer, including his fill-in Kitty Pilgrim are all part of the left wing media trying to silence him? What about the Amrican Spectator and Anne Coulter, those bastions of left wingery? Why doesn't Lou understand what free speech is? If the "liberals" were calling for you to be incarcerated (which, by the way, may be the best thing that could happen to Lou. J/K Louie) then they would not believe in the right to free speech. Requesting you be fired is not being against your free speech, it is embracing the free market. Someone who advocates an arrest (Bill Bennett) because of something that is said is anti free speech. Is it really that hard to understand?

Geez.........I expect to hear that kind of nonsense from Savage or Quinn...but now Dobbs.

When a 'journalist' who portrays himself as professional helps support the conspiracy put forward by further escapees from the asylum what are we supposed to think? Respond in a mature fashion to whom Lou? To the ringleaders that started this who have made no secret from their past that they are by and large racist, anti-Semitic, and mental cases? To their groupies who represent a slice of society that matches them in their racial beliefs and can not come to grips that the 8 year vacation from responsible government is over and it is being led by a black man?

I'm sorry, Lou Dobbs is either taking the opportunist route or this is the beginning of his slide into dementia.

Dobbs is doing the victim role. Strangely enough, Palin did the same thing about the media. This is Nixonian using the "blame the media" strategy.

If you think of all the times you have been required to produce a birth certificate in you lifetime (start of school, obtaining ss card, drivers license, passport, taking of bar exam, etc,etc) I am totally unable to imagine how Dobbs or any sentient being could continue this discussion and pretend intellectual honesty.

Left wing media is the laziest, most disingenuous term that the right has paraded out. It is a lie and the corporations that employ them are perfect examples of why it is a lie. News programming for profit will never have a progressive point of view completely, unless its ratings were so huge the boardroom wants the money more than the message.

Also, I'd love to hear someone explain what it takes to be too far to the right for TV, a medium that welcomes stark-raving, feces-throwing lunatics around the clock from Ann Coulter to Rush Limbaugh to Bill Kristol to Karl Rove. Who on the left can spew any baseless allegation, the crazier the better, the way the rightwing is ENCOURAGED to do by our darling "liberal media"!
