Suddenly Michelle Malkin loves political protests. Under Bush, not so much

August 04, 2009 3:25 pm ET by Eric Boehlert

The anti-health care mobs that the right-wing is whipping up to disrupt town hall meetings hosted by Democrats are being cheered mightily by bloggers like Malkin, who are thrilled that angry conservatives are trying to shut down public dialog about health care reform in this country.

It's funny, because during the Bush years, Malkin had a caustic put-down she used for anybody on the left who protested government policy, without, of course, trying to shut down public debate: Moonbats!

But today's Tea Party fanatics who scream and yell and plan massive disruptions? They're just regular ole Americans.

"There She Goes Again", Lying through her Two Buck Teeth.
She has told that lie so many times it's time to put that sword back in its Sheath.
I watched Michelle Malkin on "Thiis Week with George Stephanopoulos" and she was made to look like a Fool.
She insinuated that Americans are Lazy and just want to collect from Americas Unemployment pool.

      Speak truth to power.

Yes but the anti-war protests were aimed at saving Iraqi and American lives -- so they had to be ridiculed, whereas these protests are designed to boost profits of insurance companies and allow them to continue to deny and limit health care -- so they are to be celebrated. Yay!!!

these must be the traditional values the right is always going on about. i was always taught that when your invited over to someones place you treat both them and their place with respect. if you can't do that then stay home. if these people want to have their questions answered they can do it politely. if not, then they should be removed from the building and then they can scream all they want outside.

But I'm sure she would have supported protests if McCain had won, just as she would have written a book about his cronyism. In the magical world of completely implausible wingnut hypotheticals, anyway.

This is the thing with the RIGHT.honest dissent and dissagreement is NOT tolerated when they are in power. Only when they are out of power is it tolerated and encouraged.

Can't they arrest those people disrupting the Town Hall meetings for disorderly conduct in public? They're in public, they're being disorderly. Throw 'em in the clink.

Naw, only African-American professors in their own homes can be charged with disorderly conduct.

Did anyone actually click the Moonbats link? Malkin gleefully linked to this site saying "check that link and you’ll get a chuckle out of Media Matters pointing to my archive exposing anti-war fraudsters, Code Pink thieves and home stalkers, and rock-throwing moonbats as some sort of proof that supporting the law-abiding Tea Party movement is hypocritical". Good work, Media Matters!

      Mobs.

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

When these righties start hanging people in effigy, make assassinati0n movies, throw rocks off over passes (recreate 68!), assault the opposition, storm the stage to shut down discourse, break into people's homes, and otherwise utilize violence against those who disagree with them - you know - just like the loon toon left, then we'll talk.

You got nuthin'. But thanks for playing!

Examples please, preferably with links from reputable sites.

        then we'll talk.

        Until then, you'll babble.

        You got nuthin'.

So says the little man into his mirror.
