Waiting for Mary Katharine Ham to update her bogus Weekly Standard post

August 05, 2009 3:54 pm ET by Eric Boehlert

She mocked the White House for having the nerve to pick a fight with Matt Drudge, who, according to deep thinkers at places like the Weekly Standard, is a de facto leader of the conservative movement. Along with Glenn Beck, of course. (The Weekly Standard must be so proud.)

Here's Ham belittling the White House's Linda Douglass and her paltry online response to Drudge [emphasis added]:

Despite copious coverage this morning, a top link on Drudge, and the Politico dubbing it a "viral campaign," Douglass' dreary video is up to only about 350 views

Ha-ha! Only 350 people watched the White House's response to Drudge. Except that, if you check the tallies today, the White House clip has been viewed more than 116,000 times.

Still waiting for Ham to update her post.

Mary Katherine Ham (the last name being rather unintentional irony) has nothing more to offer than these adolescent blogs and her stints on Bill O'Reilly's Comedy Hour as a "Blogosphere Culture Warrior". Why anyone care what she thinks or says is beyond me.

Democrats or liberals just want to shut the populace up. This is a frightening time. What American Leader in the past wants us to report on our neighbors if they talk "fishy" about the health plan? Where is the ACLU now? This comes from a community organizer, Barack Obama, is trying to censor our society....and looks the other way when people in Iran are searching/hoping for freedom. Pres. Obama is changing this country faster than it took for him to get the "public image/photo shot" family dog. What a phony! Quit drinking the kool-aid. Keep talking Ms. Ham...you're doing great! Journalism at it's finest!
