Does Andrew Breitbart not know what "lied" means? Or doesn't he know what a swastika is?

August 13, 2009 2:05 pm ET by Eric Boehlert

Or does he just get paid to peddle partisan information? I'm leaning toward the latter.

From his WashTimes column this week [emphasis added]:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who is having a hard time these days explaining the president's Israel policy to her Jewish constituents, blatantly lied and said that the protesters were wielding "swastikas and symbols like that."

Didn't we already go through this routine, and didn't NRO's Jonah Goldberg already sufficiently embarrass himself when he claimed Pelosi was "lying" about the swastika claim?

Guess Breitbart didn't get the memo:

And a bonus for Breitbart, from the Wall Street Journal:

Diane Campbell of Kingston, N.H., held a sign with Mr. Obama's face superimposed on a Nazi storm trooper, a sign, she said, that was made by her chronically ill mother..."Adolf Hitler was for exterminating the weak, not just the Jews and stuff, and socialism -- that's what's going to happen."

To be white in America must be a Wonderful Thing.
You can wear a Loaded Gun to a Presidential Town Hall & not be part of a Police Sting.
But if you are Black and you're sitting in your own Home.
All the Education in the World won't keep that Police Night Stick from Cracking your Dome.

      Speak truth to power.

Mr. News: I love your posts. As a song writer and lyricist I find myself riffing verses in the back of my mind throughout the day, as well. Your rhythm though reminds me of the character of the giant in "Princess Bride" who would finish Mandy Patinkin's set up with a rhyme after a pause where he thought about it. If you just separated the last word in each line with dots it would be ..... perfect. Nice

      Breitbart: Pelosi blatantly lied
      Breitbart: Gladney viciously attacked

This guy needs to learn right quick that people take photos and shot video footage of stuff that goes on.

Eric - you are arguing with facts against a right-wing propogandist that has no interest in facts when they contradict his perspectives.

      Good luck with that!

Andy is a D-List wingnut tool trying to be relevant. Kind of like the crazy woman I saw yelling during my lunch break, although she had better hair.

Breitbart has to be the biggest idiot I ever saw on Bill Maher's show. The guy is a conservative dork (but aren't they all?). So it is rather obvious facts are not relvant to him.

Yes... but if it make you feel any better, he also does it in his leisure time for free.

The four pictures here of protesters show people denouncing fascism. You will note that only the 'graffiti' picture uses a swastika without a negation. Pelosi was saying that protesters are Nazis. These people (and probably the graffiti artist as well) are agitating against their (correct) perception that the ObamaCare bills are consistent with national socialism.
I saw a picture of a Hitler/Obama poster at a town meeting. People there said the man carrying the poster was passing out pro-Obama material after the meeting. In other words, he was a plant.

Pelosi was saying no such things and you know it. Don't you think your pathological lies might go down better on Free Republic?...

And of course no link, no video, no nothing but your own word (har har) about this supposed plant...

Actually, the best picture above is the first where the lady beside the "not-swastika" who has a sign that says "gov't run health care cause they did such a good job with Medicare."

That right there is what's wrong with the people protesting. They don't know what they're talking about.
Why does the US spend (2005 data from WHO) over $6,000 per person on health care while France spends a little more than $3,000? Or the UK which spends less than France (See this little table I made

Why is that? And yet, those countries have longer life expectancy. So, if government run health care is so bad, how can the other OECD countries have more affordable health care, longer life expectancy and often better disease outcomes.? But, please let's argue about who's a Nazi or not or who called somebody a Nazi.
Let's all talk about trivia while the insurance companies and the pharmaceutical companies loot people's pockets.

Pelosi was saying that protesters are Nazis.

No. She. Was. Not. You. Idiot.

She was saying that they were going way over the top using Nazi symbols in their protest. The problem is not they we think they're actual Nazis, schmuck, it that's they are baslessly accusing US of being them!

I forget who posted it first, but it was BRILLIANT. Latest RW tactic.
        1) Call your opponent a Nazi
        2) When they call you out on it, accuse THEM of calling YOU a Nazi.
        3) Rinse, Repeat

And YOU'VE FALLEN FOR IT! How does it feel to be duped? How does it feel to be lied to? How does it feel to lack basic english comprehension skills?

        Is that a GOOD felling?

In other words, he was a plant.

If you think universal health care is fascist, we don't NEED 'plants' to make your lot look like fools. You've already demonstrated that you're only about as intelligent as the average plant.

Do you people really not understand that the protesters are holding the swastika signs in opposition to our totalitarian bent, loony left regime? Or are you Pelosites just too dense to realize that we understand Pelosi was trying to infer that the good people were actually Nazi supporters. What a confused old woman she is! And the Pelosites hang on her every word. Unbelievable!

In my much weaker moments, I might actually support this policy... starting by beating Diane Campbell and her ailing mother to death with that stupid, MF-ing sign!
