When does this boycott make a difference? What is the end goal?
I'm not saying Obama is a racist, but I'll bet I can find more "evidence" that he is a racist than Beck. I still have yet to hear from anyone on this site what Beck believes in that makes him racist.
Naw, there's no question that the boycott is entirely justified.
If I were just handed this list of advertisers, and without knowing the particulars, I would have guessed this was something that appeared on a local program showing terrible science fiction movies in the middle of the night.
And to our friends who cannot deal with the success of the boycott and go to the "but, but the ratings!" defense, I would ask a simple pair of questions: If what Beck did was okay, why hasn't he repeated himself (i.e., confirmed his opinion that the president really is a racist with a deep-seated hatred of white people) since? And if what Beck did wasn't okay, why hasn't he apologized?
