Michael Savage gets bounced off the air in his own hometown

In fact, KNEW in San Francisco serves as Savage's flagship station for his syndicated radio show. Make that was. As Think Progress reported, the station yanked Savage off the air today. Permanently.
The station's statement:
We have decided to go in a different philosophical and ideological direction, featuring more contemporary content and more local information. The Savage Nation does not fit into that vision.
I'm sure The New Yorker is crushed.

I guess after a while America just gets tired of this excrement.
And so it hath begun...
Freedom of speech is a funny thing.
It can move mountains,
or
it is like giving enough rope to someone so they can hang themselves.
Bye. Bye. Savage.
Ah, don't sweat it. Why don't you take a nice long trip to...uh, uh...Wales!
Good Time(s) for Activism!
Good luck to others in line to be removed. BIG BROTHER is indeed watching your every move.
But if it is, the Media Matters is surely to be congratulated for keeping the spotlight on Savage constantly.
Either way, this is good news for anyone who wants sane and factual political discourse.
Another semi-literate weighs in. I'm sure that Savage must be proud to have attracted so many first-rate minds.
Let the circus begin on right wing crackpot radio today, on how this is a violation of Savage's first amendment rights.
