September 16, 2009 6:28 pm ET by Matt Gertz

Once Lou Dobbs is doing the Publishers Clearing House commercials at least the time slot it is aired will be fitting.

National Republican Trust PAC, News Corp, and the National Review. Someone's called in some markers?

I've just written to all the advertisers whose products I use to let them know I will no longer purchase their products/services unless they pull ads from Beck's hateful, bigoted program. I hope others are writing, too.

Does any other site remove comments as often as Media Matters?

Twice on "Who is still advertising?" posts I asked about two advertisers from the tv show WKRP In Cinncinnati.

Apparently the MM4A interns who edit the posts are too young to understand the references. So, those comments are gone.

I've posted on NewsBusters, Wonkette, and News Hounds. All those comments remain to this day.

Why does MM4A do this? I've had other posts removed, by the way...

        Duh. Bias.
I have had comments removed for similarly silly reasons.
Meanwhile if you are on the correct side (hard left) you can call other posters racists, bigots, idiots and other harassing names, and it will appear on the site. Most people on this site are not interested in facts, they just like to have their little utopia here, where 99% of the people agree with them.

Look at any thread and you will see plenty of comments from cons. The idea that Medi Matters is trying to supress conservative opinion is ridiculous.

Shaggles: your post makes sense, is logical, and can be empirically verified. Therefore the neocons will ignore it. It does not fit in with their philosophy of never letting reality interfere with their talking points. If MMfA deleted all dissenting posts, their posts wouldn't be there for us to respond to--but that doesn't fit into their pseudoreality so they will disregard the obvious in favor of wingnuttery.

Go to http://foxnewsboycott.com/. They are running a major campaign against Fox News. They target not only Glenn Beck but Billo The Clown and Hatemonger Hannity, as well.
