Its kinda funny that when Bush was in office, you didn't have to go to such absurd extremes to point out what a disaster Bush was to the country. All you had to do was point out policy mistakes and their results.
RT from Senator John McCain, 1:42pm August 15th, 2009:
Late evening with Col. Qadhafi at his "ranch" in Libya - interesting meeting with an interesting man.
Why must Obama dodge such "unsavory attendees"? Is it because Fox News will post pictures of a hand shake and tell the public that Obama just sold America for a bunch of lousy trinkets?
Has Fox News ever heard of diplomacy? Bush used to "pal" around with Putin, who is pretty much just as bad as any of these other guys, but you don't hear anybody talking bad about that... we even allied with the communist nation in WWII... does that mean America supports communism?
Even consider the "Reagan Doctrine", which gave us "Charlie Wilson's War", which inevitably led to the quagmire we have today...
Fox News, and all these other conservative pundits don't seem to be capable of making in depth observations. They jump to conclusions off of normal interactions, like a handshake... I'm sure Obama shook hands with the leaders of France and Germany, and maybe some of those other European nations with socialized health care... what does that mean?
I may be in the minority here, but I didn't see much of a problem with this one. Politico's graphic does put him between the unsavory people, but the caption is pretty clear in differentiating him from the scum.
Aren't some of these "men" the ones's Obama spoke of reaching out to? Didn't he say he would meet with Ajad? Doesn't he want to talk to Chavez to undo all the damage the Bush administration did to his bid to become a dictator? With all his power and wisdom isn't he the one to reign in Mugabe? he just gave a big victory to Russia, I'm sure they will giving something back to our great president, as far as Irans nukes are concerned, right?
I don't understand why Politico holds so much sway over other media. Why? It is and always has been center right, yet the political shows (even Countdown) are saturated with their "journalists" much of whom are hacks let go from other prominent news sources.

Politico-to-English translation:
"If Obama is seen anywhere within 10 feet of these men, Politico will report that Drudge/Fox/Limbaugh/Hannity are saying he's coddling terrorists."
