In anti-gay attack on Feldblum, Farah says Obama appointees found at "Perverts.gov," gov't should be "fumigated" when "these deviants and degenerates" are gone

October 06, 2009 1:10 pm ET by Media Matters staff

From WorldNetDaily editor and CEO Joseph Farah's October 6 column, headlined "Obama's freak show":

But this guy, Barack Obama, is giving us all more than we bargained for in the way of craziness, chaos, radicalism, extremism and immorality on a scale that would possibly make even Bill Clinton blush. Well, maybe not that much.

We've got a homosexual activist by the name of Kevin Jennings as czar of "safe schools." Talk about the fox guarding the chicken coop! This guy is a disciple of Harry Hay, founder of Radical Faeries and a longtime advocate for the North American Man-Boy Love Association. Do you feel like your child is safe with him in charge of school safety?

Then there's science czar John Holdren who wrote in a college textbook that "illegitimate children" born to unwed mothers should be seized by the government and put up for adoption if the mother refuses to have an abortion. He also argued the Constitution supports "compulsory" abortion.

Then there's Cass Sunstein, the regulatory czar, who explains that embryos are "just a handful of cells" and that an adult dog is more rational than a human baby.

Now come the revelations about his nominee to be commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission - Chai Feldblum.

She signed a manifesto praising polygamy and arguing traditional marriage should not be privileged above other forms of union.

Another outspoken homosexual-rights activist - it seems almost a prerequisite in the Obama administration - she is a signatory to an online petition entitled "Beyond Same-Sex Marriage: A New Strategic Vision For All Our Families and Relationships." Among the stated "partnerships" the petition seeks to protect is "households in which there is more than one conjugal partner."

She also proclaimed gay sex as "morally good" - not just neutral, mind you, but something God apparently smiles upon.

I wonder what kind of database Obama uses to locate people like this? Is it Monster.com? That would be appropriate. Or is it FreaksUnlimited.com? Maybe Obamanations.com? No, it's got to be Perverts.gov.

I'm telling you, the entire federal government is going to have to be fumigated some day when these deviants and degenerates are finally sent packing.

Hate, some say it's learned from our Parents while others quote from Polls.
Others says Hate steems from somewhere deep inside all of our Souls.
I think we have all Hated someone or something in our Past.
Most of us grow up, while others are left behind at this impass.

      Speak truth to power.

So what exactly did Farah say about any of the individuals listed that was not true?

Are you claiming those people did not say and write those things? Again, what did he say about them that was not true? It is a pretty basic question.

Now come on. None of those quotes listed were direct quotes with links to the source.
That douche paraphrased and took selected words and phrases out of context.
But you already knew that, didn't you?

Let's see, Holden has an interest in the issue of overpopulation and has stated that countries should try to reduce the birth rate, because he feels that overpopulation will result in great misery.

He also co-authored a book where different type of population control methods were discussed. His view is that populations can be controlled through birth control and access to abortion.
(note: he has NOT advocated forced steralization or abortions, something he has been wrongly accussed of.)

Essentially you would shift the power from men to women in patriarchal societies.

In most conservative cultures women are subservient to men. That has to be change if we want to reduce population growth.

OK wasn't sure what your point was but; now I would agree.
Please note: I was just stating what Holden's view was versus what some on the right have been saying.

e.g. If you are for population control that must mean you are for forced sterilization, etc.

Number one would be that he isn't the "Science Czar", he is the Presidents Science Advisor.

He does not set policy, he advises the president on Science and Technology.

So do you think Jennings is interested in promoting pedophelia in schools or is he just trying to reduce demonization of gay students?

You'll be happy to provide evidence that human life begins at conception, there is undeniably a human soul to be protected, and accordingly any mother who knowingly smokes or drinks and miscarries should be tried for murder OR will you acknowledge there might be a smidgeon of moral ambiguity about forcing women to bear children they don't want?

You'll gladly explain why it is that gay couples (as well as singles) should be financially penalized in preference to hetero couples who enjoy tax benefit for no other reason than they are married or will you acknowledge that Feldblum may have a point?

You'll gladly explain why polygamy is inherently morally wrong notwithstanding its existence in other societies, in the Bible, and in the Koran?

You'll clearly explain why gay sex is inherently EVIL as opposed to not being your cup of tea?

Give you "points of view" please. World Net Daily shrieking headlines do not count as reasoned argument. And I don't put much weight in cuz the Bible says.

Can the state of Oregon be fumigated to get rid of the foul stench left by Mr. Farah and his odious rag? No, well, I find his hateful rag just as offensive and perverted as anything I have seen him rant against.

I has been brought to my attention that the US is GODs own country!
Which might explain these kinds of strange outpourings - I can only be thankful NOT to have been born in this particular paradise!
You doo seem to have the strangest discussions "over there" - being northern european these subjects appear surreal - on par with discussing if the earth is flat! Or whether Darwin had a point or not???
      How weird is THAT!!!!
And now that you have finally got a leader that most nations would be proud of you discuss his BIRTH CERTIFICATE or the sexuality of his appointees??? Or if healthcare for all will allow state killing of the elderly????

Sorry but I just don“t get it

I am so relieved to hear you say so!
And, for the record, I know there are millions of sensible people "over there".
I just find these discussions of, what to most of Europe (and I have so far lived in quite a few countries here)are basic realities and established truths, rather disturbing. And thats putting it very politely!!!

Miggi- I'm also an American, and I don't get all the craziness either. Like you, I have often wondered why we, as descendants of Europe, still hold on to these stagnant (and often backward) notions that continue to impede our progress as (so-called) members of the 21st-century. We would do well to recognize and implement Europe's progressive, forward-thinking ideals rather than remain stuck in the quagmire that Neocons so desperately want to keep us in. It's a sad state of affairs, and I hope the current Administration somehow acquires the backbone to affect some real change in this country. It's way past overdue.

I am a student at Georgetown Law and had professor Feldblum last year for a course on statutory interpretation. She is a brilliant, kind-hearted woman. Seeing these scumbags pick and choose out of context clips to denigrate her is disgusting. This is a woman with a tremendous academic and personal background who will undoubtedly make a fine governmental employee. These people are just rotten to the core.

@mistersnrub, thanks for sharing this. It is good to hear something from almost a primary source.

Both sides have a tendency to exaggerate; but the right just makes stuff up.
