Fox & Friends graphics declare GOP victories the "winds of change," a "Republican revival" and a "blueprint for success"

Sis-Boom Bah!
Gooooo Republicans!
FOX! FOX! FOX!
Where are Margaret Carlson's pom-poms? Steve Doocy's megaphone?
Please don't hit Lou Dobbs' house or it will derail your news cycle.
I wonder how they will spin the graphic about voters number one and two concerns being Jobs and Health Care?
Yeah, I think we all know how they will spin that.
Better get busy on the second stimulus...
I've never met you, so that means I can call you by a familiar nickname, too. From now on, your name is "Sicko."
The chyron on the first screenshot declares: "A GOP Sweep: Republicans take VA, NJ Gov Races"
Hilarious. Of course, the "liberal" media is just as compliant in delivering the GOP Comeback Kid story.
NY-23rd is news.
CA-10th is news.
Seems like when FoxNews saw "wins" for Republicans in VA and NJ they jumped with joy so "proudly". Notice how FoxNews called their Republican Winners for VA and NJ by 6:00pm (EST) or so last night with maybe 40% Precincts, but "refused" to call NY-23 with 84% Precincts way after 1:00am (EST). FoxNews cried with the "LOSS" in NY-23 and just swept this away. But, wait. FoxNews can be save from total "embarrassment" with the "wins" by Republicans in VA and NJ. Whew went Republicans (FoxNews). LOL.
The Foxnews.com site barely even mentions the repug loss in NY23. Everything is centered on the two unsurprising wins in NJ and VA.
"Obama Dealt a Blow as Dems Face Voter Backlash at Polls"
"Take Two"
"Gubernatorial Elections of 2009"
Then under a subheading:
"ELECTION HQ: Republicans win two governor races as McDonnell takes Virginia and Christie upsets Corzine in New Jersey; Democrat Owens takes closely watched N.Y. congressional seat." *emphasis added
Wait! McDonnell's side will show when he starts denying women equal rights in that state. He has a well known reputation for that. You should read the thesis he wrote in 1989 at Pat Robinson's college.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/documents/McDonnell_thesis_082909.pdf
In short it talks about: His agenda of opposition to abortion and support for school vouchers, and tax policies that favor heterosexual families. In the work, McDonnell argues for covenant marriage, a "legally distinct type of marriage intended to make it more difficult to obtain a divorce".
In his thesis, McDonnell said "government policy should favor married couples over 'cohabitators, homosexuals or fornicators." McDonnell also "described working women and feminists as 'detrimental' to the family." McDonnell also "criticized a landmark 1965 Supreme Court decision" which legalized the use of contraceptives by married couples. In the thesis, McDonnell argued for the use of government intervention on societal issues, writing that "man’s basic nature is inclined towards evil, and when the exercise of liberty takes the shape of pornography, drug abuse, or homosexuality, the government must restrain, punish, and deter."
Plus Chris Christie is also known for under the table schemes and he also served as one of the 17 U.S. Attorneys on Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' advisory committee. (He might not go so well with the people there once they find out the true story behind Christie.)
So the GOP and FOX Snooze gloating over there two seat win may be back to slap them just like the 23rd seat in up-state NY.

Alternatively, since the focus was on three races (Ny23, VA and NJ) for weeks, they only won 2 of 3 which doesn't qualify as a sweep. So to solve that pesky problem, as another poster mentioned they have stopped talking about NY23.
Simply shameful.
"Wins Send Shockwaves Thru Congress"
More wishful thinking from Fox. First of all, who was shocked? The VA and NJ races were no shock to anyone. Second of all, why Congress, specifically? In case no one at Fox noticed, the Democrats gained two more seats--their hold on Congress is better than ever!
I never understood why anyone thought that a typically poorly-attended off-year election could serve as a "referendum" on anyone. When historians draw up the lists of best and worst presidents, the ones who served less than two years (W. Harrison, Taylor, Garfield) tend to be left off because they haven't had time to do much yet. Any sane person (and yes, this excludes Fox and many of their fans) would let Obama continue his term at least 18 months before passing judgment.
In any event, I find nothing whatever to fear from yesterday's results. By all means, bring on 2010, 2012, and beyond!
