Actually Ed Schultz called it like it was and spoke truth to power last night. Olby and tinkerbell should pay attention and listen to Ed.

Nice examples you gave to back up your point, Sicko.

Wait, you did nothing of the sort.

I wonder if MSNBC will realize...

"Mistake to ever let murphymike near an MSNBC studio again. The mega-stupid gets in the way."

well, Olby did skip out from his 10PM live slot. So much for "truth to power."

I guess he needed to consult "the finger that types the special comments".

My favorite thing about Twitter is how it tempts well-known people to say something impulsive to half a million followers. And there's no one else they can blame when it happens.

Agreed. From the ordinary to the famous, everyone gets to deal with the old adage, "never write anything down that you don't want tattooed on your forehead at your funeral."

Didn't he also poke at MSNBC while he was on Meet the Press a few weeks ago? When Rachel Maddow was on?

Hey Murphy: Clutch a tea bag, flip on FOX News, and you'll feel much better.

And then he appears on MSNBC this morning to talk about the election results.

So hes either a complete fraud, or an attention whore. (Both is also an acceptable answer.)

I love Obama and Media Matters, but Murphy is right. Olbermann is frittering away one of our best competitive attributes -- our basic decency. It may be emotionally satisfying to hear Olbermann's rants, but having a liberal Sean Hannity works against us.

"His" channel? He can say whatever he wants but MMFA is wrong in its framing. MSNBC is no more "his" channel than democrat Steve McMahon's or any other strategist, left of right. In addition, this claim by MMFA is even more of a stretch than usual since Murphy appears on NBC (Meet The Press) more often than MSNBC.

Olbermann is the liberal Hannity. He reduces the decency contrast between Democrats and Republicans. Not good for Democrats, no matter how much emotional satisfaction he provides.
