AP's Sidoti calls Obama "novice" commander in chief

AP:
They were more pessimistic about the direction of the country. They disapproved of Obama's handling of the economy a bit more than before. And, perhaps most striking for this novice commander in chief, more people have lost confidence in Obama on Iraq and Afghanistan over the last month. (emphasis added)
Perhaps the AP's Liz Sidoti can tell us about all those other Presidents who, in their first year in the presidency, were veterans at being commander in chief? As most people know, in the first year it's impossible to be a veteran commander in chief, because in order to be commander in chief you have to be elected to the presidency. They're all rookies in their first year.
Last April it was noted that Sidoti presented Republican presidential candidate John McCain a "treat" of donuts... with sprinkles.

Now if they were creme filled...you'd have a point!
The last President, G.W. Bush, was a military veteran. He put in four honorable years in the Texas Air National Guard, then blew off the last two years of his commitment.
Yeah, some great veteran that guy was!
If there's any one part of the Iraq War where Bush drove me absolutely crazy with his dereliction of duty, it was during the summer of 03. That was when the lull after the fall of Baghdad ended and the guerrilla war began. What did Bush do to respond to this obviously unexpected development?
Nothing. Not a damned thing.
At a time when he should have been spending all his time in the map room, consulting with counter-insurgency experts and reorganizing forces so that they could meet the new challenge, Bush sat around on his ranch, twiddling his thumbs and doing diddly-squat.
Barack Obama, by comparison, is a "novice" C-in-C!?!?!? $#%@&@!!!
