Latest ratings for the liberal team captains on cable:
Big Ed...0.5 million
Olbermann...0.9 million
Maddow...0.8 million
If Beck is insignificant...then the big three champions of the liberal cause are the proverbial pimples on a backside.
The boycott ploy promoted by CoC/mmfa has been tried before with little success...but I applaud the continuing Rockyesque attempt by mmfa to win the fight by bashing Beck in the fist with their face.
Now, the Rightguard is always saying that the media is liberal, so you guys are pretty much a trickle of extremism, by your own reckoning.
Is this too difficult for you to understand? (It must be, because you are always coming around with your piddling numbers trying to make some sort of point that falls flat. If you actually had a head for numbers, you would have stopped making a losing argument weeks ago.)
The 3rd quarter ratings for the evening broadcast news are the following:
ABC-4.7 million
CBS-3.7 million
NBC-5.1 million
The 13 Million from your figures, Wesley, are about 1/2 of R&R's figures, but even 24MM, still talking less than 10% of the population.
The thing that you don't seem to recognize is that television is not the only medium available for news dissemination. With newspapers - bot print and electronic - television is for those folks who are either supplementing their reading or too lazy to actually read. I will let you decide where Fox viewers fit in that dynamic.
The sad thing is that, of those who think they are informed, many only single-source their news - and most of them don't trust any objective sources (and are ill-equipped to tell the difference), so they just watch Fox and let Beck, hannity, and O'Reilly tell them what to think. Luckily, though, they are a fringe.
When we are all done laughing, we will take a minute or two to rebut your ridiculous statements.
Which of the seven articles, and which of the twenty-seven amendments has Obama violated?
Just asking.
crickets
These are the same people who, when hungry and thirsty for Filet Mignon and a fine Pinot Noir, go to a 7-11 for beef jerky and a Big Gulp.
Is this number rising? It looks like a longer list. Perhaps the new advertisers need a clue as to what Beck is about.
That's right: Proctor & Gamble and Toyota-Lexus were replaced when Beck landed the coveted and lucrative Newsmax and Easy Water accounts. Too bad for P&G, as they are missing out on the demographic that thinks our President is a white-hater.
