      hardly shocking.

the Republican Party is moving much more to the Alex Jones wing of the far right.

Jones' conspiracy theories are actually mainstream in the Republican Party now.

You could argue that Jones is the new leader of the Republicans.

I'm just waiting (I'm assuming they haven't already) for the links to StormFront and the John Birchers.

You're not that far off. Jones slams the ADL on his page since they questioned his inflammatory rhetoric. And the headline is really cute too: "Purging The Undesirables: ADL Attempts To Pin A Yellow Star On Grass Roots America"

'cause you know the ADL is just like Hitler and the Nazis!

Clearly (and to no surprise) Limbaugh has no problem with this. Kind of reminds me when he complained about "liberals" who spoke out against Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ." Limbaugh didn't say--of course--that it was the ADL leading the charge against Gibson's movie; that would expose his underlying anti-Semitism.

As an aside, listen to Limbaugh's rants sometime and substitute the word liberals with Jews. (Liberals who run the media, liberals who run Hollywood, liberals in the schools) In essence, he's spewing the same crap--almost line for line--as Father Coughlin and other dangerous propagandists of generations past. Just using better code words...or at least less inflammatory code words

Now I'm confused. I thought the cons attributed 9/11 conspiracy theories to the left?

Does Limpy realize that Jones was part of the 9/11 Truther movement?

I wonder if Beck knows? He's been pushing Alex Jones, too.

Seems to me that this would create a bit of a sticky-wicket for these idiots . . . they claimed that it was an unforgivable sin that Van Jones had signed the truther petition . . . ALEX Jones is a charter member of the movement.
