        I have seen children that are starved for attention but OMG!
        I thought several months ago we dug a hole for the Death Panel & covered it with Sod.

          There were a couple of people on the news channels today arguing from the right that just because "death panels" wasn't in the 2000 page bill, that it was still "in" there because the cutting of Medicare benefits (never mind that no Medicare primary healthcare benefits ARE cut, just special extra programs).

        Well, because the "effects" of the bill will cause a loss of benefits, and so some people will die.

        And somehow that's the same thing (of course it's not really the same thing) and so it will result in dead people (no one's health is going to be threatened, so it's not true), and voila, death panels!

      The real 'Lie of the Year' was the one Obama and the Dems said when they said they would meet the gold standard in transparency and bills would be online for people to read for a few days.
      Runner-up was the following Nutroots-isnpired about Sarah Palin's book: That her book was written by a 'ghostwriter'(Never mind Hillary and Obama had them), people were buying them in bulk to skewer sales (Unproven), or a conspiracy involving online booksellers selling books at 'cheaper' rates then in the store.
