Even WND won't call Birthers the year's top story

December 30, 2009 8:50 am ET by Jamison Foser

If you had any doubt about WorldNetDaily's delusional obsession with fringe theories about President Obama's place of birth, just check out WND's front page:

With that in mind, you almost have to feel sorry for the Birther conspiracy theorists.  See, even WND can't bring themselves to list their claims that Obama was not born in the U.S as their top news story of 2009.  "Is Barack Obama constitutionally eligible to serve as president?" comes in all the way down at number three on WND's "Top 10 of 2009" list. The Birthers can, however, take some solace in the fact that WND also gave them the four spot for "Where's the birth certificate?"

Wow...! And you can buy a T-shirt, learn how to hide your guns from criminals and get a banner to fight socilaism...all at the same place! That WND is something...!

BTW, any top ten list that contains both Carrie Prejean and Michael Savage has to be lame.

That link for 500,000 has been up for quite a long time. Ever since Les Kinsolving, a WND journalist, asked Press Secretary Gibbs during a press conference if they would be revealing the President's "long form" birth certificate.

This was sometime in May when he asked...
...in consideration of this very good promise of transparency, why can't the president respond to the petitioned request of 400,000 American citizens by releasing a certified copy of his long-form birth certificate, listing hospital, physician... 400,000
Seven months later, a permanent link on their homepage, and with Lou Dobbs all over the issue and they haven't gotten to the 500,000 mark yet?

I went and checked WingNutDaily on my own. They are nominating the Teabaggers and the Person of the Year, and once again reprinting the discredited photograph of the 9/12 Rally and the 1.7 million figure. I was there, it was no more than 75,000. That's a lot of people, to be sure, but it ain't 1.7 million!

Did you count them? And, you left your statement unfinished: "They are nominating the Teabaggers and the Person of the Year,". Which one did they nominate and what did they nominate them for? My guess is; you aren't very good at re-typing what you're told to type. Quite similar to most liberals who re-type every talking point known to man on any given subject in a vain attempt to make themselves look good to themselves. It would be quite interesting to watch a group of liberals try to talk if they were constrained to only using their own thoughts. It would probably be a verrrry quiet conversation.

We all have to thank mr foser for giving us the link to WorldNetDaily. Too bad he couldn't stick around to actually discuss the issues he thinks are important.
There was no mention on WND about global warming, is that why foser failed to address any of those important issues that were there? Perhaps he is still soaking in the phenominal information that Gore gave us last month; that the earths inner core is "several million degrees" (considering that on the surface of the sun the temp is around 7,000 deg C, no wonder we have global warming!).
There was mention of the czars(1), border agents(2), presidential legallity(3/4), communism(5), government dissension(6), morality(7), liberal fearmongering(8) and more liberal fearmongering(9/10).
Foser had nothing to say on any of those except his fear that his president may be illegal. Claiming 'birthers' have no right to question authority, while just over a year ago, commanding all to question authority. He refuses to allow open debate on a subject that has still never been finallized. You have to wonder, if John McCain had won, would Foser be demanding clarification of his birth certificate? Since he wasn't born in the US either. Oh, wait, McCain provided his birth certificate. Foser, you are acting very hypocrical on this matter. Clarify your stance.
