The Fox Nation correction: Just add a question mark

Yesterday, Media Matters noted that Fox Nation, along with their Fox & Friends cohorts, ran with a bogus story that a school in central Florida had banned the Christmas colors red and green from classrooms. The school's district spokesperson denied this, telling Media Matters, “There is not a ban on the colors red and green at Heathrow Elementary.”

The school later issued a statement -- which (somewhat surprisingly) Fox Nation later added to its original post -- making plainly clear that a report of the school “banning ... red and green is simply not true.”

So how did Fox Nation edit its headline to reflect the school's statement?

Before:

redandgreen

After:

Yup, Fox Nation simply added a question mark to the end of its headline.

Problem solved, Fox Nation-style.
