Don't write anything down that you don't want tattooed on your forehead at your funeral. The Twits that Tweet seem to forget that on a daily basis, and I ain't just talking about this fool.

Can anyone do a variation on the "72 virgins" that is not lame?

Except, health coverage reform is designed to save lives, not take them. Except, health coverage reform is a bipartisan issue, and everyone, every single American, has a stake in seeing costs lowered. Except, Dorgan and Dodd, if given ambassadorships, will continue to fulfill their duties with the grace and honor they have shown thus far. So, except for getting every bit of it wrong, likely those who wish to believe it, will.

This guy really can't keep his mouth shut can he?

He could have written something about Dorgan and Dodd, and how this might be a good chance for republicans to take their places, but instead, he's got a whole lot of stupid going here. Imagine, this guy used to be a lawyer (I'm betting not a very good one).

He was a lawyer ? If I remember correctly, Erickson was the author of the post I commented on in my brief (a couple of hours) career as a poster at RedState. I logged on, and mentioned some errors in the piece.I was quickly blocked from the site, after which the writer of the piece posted some insults directed at me.

I'm just some moran posting in his free time, and he cut & ran from me. No wonder he's not going up against lawyers anymore.

There's an interview from the past year or so in which Erick basically admits they'll have tough times when his wife goes on maternity leave again, which tells me he's somewhat conscious of his inadequacy as a lawyer. The Macon city council seat doesn't pay much, I'm sure, and he's already decided not to run for re-election, which is probably the wisest choice he's made in a long time.

And if there's a word that best describes what happened when you introduced fact-checking to the conversation at RedState, it's "typical." It's definitely on them and not you.

Believe me, rtejon, I would have been insulted if they didn't toss me out. I was sandbagging, not even really bringing it , just to see if anybody would respond to me, to actually try to have a discussion.

The posters there only commented to each other (calling me a troll) until it was made clear that I was bounced. Then they started bragging to each other that they were just about to mop the floor with me, and pretending to be disappointed that I "left". It's really a bizarre little fantasy club going on at RS.

He was indeed a lawyer. Colbert asked him about it the other night during his interview. Which was great, because when Colbert asked him about his controversial tweets, something about pedophiles and democrats, you couldn't have looked more uncomfortable when he was being asked that question.

I find Erickson basically to be a bomb thrower who has no better handle on facts than your basic underwear wearing, basement sitting, blogger, it's just that for some reason, lots of influential people in the republican party actually read his tripe. Which, goes to show how intellectually curious certain folks within the republican party are.

Those aren't the only politicians who will see their political careers ended as a result of this healthcare legislation. I suspect that some of these same politicians will be asking themselves in 5 years time whether it was worth trading our already heavily socialized corporatist system with an even more heavily socialized corporatist system. I suspect they'll regret their decisions in time.

      Cheers!

Fine. Check back with us in five years. Then we'll see if you're any better at predicting the future than you are at summarizing the present.
