Read FBI affidavit in the alleged plot to interfere with the phones* at Sen. Landrieu's office by O'Keefe, others

Politico's Ben Smith posted the FBI agent's affidavit in the alleged plot to interfere with the phones* at Sen. Landrieu's office by O'Keefe and three others to his Twitter account this afternoon. You can read it here (pdf).

*Correction: This post inaccurately stated that James O'Keefe was arrested in an alleged plot to wiretap Sen. Landrieu's office. The error was based on media reports (such as this one). The FBI affidavit actually alleged that O'Keefe and the others arrested were engaged in a plot to "interfer[e]" with Landrieu's telephone system. We regret the error.

      I can hardly wait to hear how they are going to justify this.

      "We were testing the security of the Senators office." ????

      Attempted espionage of a high ranking official of the US Government; no doubt Republicans will be demanding they be treated as "enemy combatants" rather than "criminals"...NOT!

      If this is true (to quote the wingnuts, out of an abundance of caution), then the bums should be locked up. And when they come out, they should be DENIED the kind of career in fake expertise that now keeps G. Gordon Liddy out of the poorhouse!
