Let's see, if we add that to the money we already owe for Bush's tax cuts, and Darth Cheney's Oil War, that comes to...

Partly. If he hadn't wasted a Trillion dollars in Iraq, we probably wouldn't need to.

I was against the war. So I'll take that as credit and apply it to this spending bill. Voila!! I'm even!!

Did they have similar conniption fits when Bush raised the debt ceiling? Of course not.

And that's the point. There are always times when deficit spending is wise, and recommended. Those times should be few, and the deficit spending that Obama has supported and recommended is that kind.

Compare that with Bush pushing 2 tax cuts through and not revoking them when we hit economic trouble spots or when we went to war. Compare that with Bush dragging us into a totally unreasonable war with Iraq, a war he knew by February of 2003 was unwise and unnecessary. Compare that with Bush and other Republicans forgetting about paygo, and pushing the Medicare drug plan without a means to pay for it - the largest entitlement program in decades.

Show me all the times that FoxNews objected to all the above, otherwise they're horrible hypocrites.

I'm sorry, what was that about a difference between the unbiased news department and the opinion department?

If only they could be as honest about it, seapickle. I guess if Fox could be honest about anything, they wouldn't be such a joke.

          Thanks for proving the point.

Really though, what a lame as$ analogy. I don't believe MMFA has ever claimed to be even a "news" (note the quotes) organization.

What are they basing this number on ? What it's going to cost a Dem to do what the last (D) president did, clean up the mess left by his Republican predecessor ?.

OK, so it's a bill. If Obama's in for eight years, that's $750 a year. Two bucks and a nickel a day.

I like being America enough that $2.05 doesn't seem that bad for damage control after eight years of Republican mismanagement. I wonder why the people who are responsible for that damage are the most upset about taking some responsibility for it.
