February 6, 2009: MRC's Tim Graham suggests the networks "skip" President Obama's prime-time news conferences.
February 8, 2010: MRC's Tim Graham wonders "Why Hasn't Obama Had a White House Press Conference Since July?"

the crib notes he put on his butt proved to hard read.
Does Mr. Graham forget about the well-known and planned out softballs for Bush from Jeff Gannon? Let's not forget about this gem: "Senate Democratic leaders have painted a very bleak picture of the U.S. economy. Harry Reid was talking about soup lines. And Hillary Clinton was talking about the economy being on the verge of collapse. Yet in the same breath they say that Social Security is rock solid and there's no crisis there. How are you going to work... you've said you are going to reach out to these people... how are you going to work with people who seem to have divorced themselves from reality?"
But MMFA just can't do a straight report - Graham was talking about 'prime-time' conferences in February of last year, as opposed to any WH news conferences since July of '09. It seems to me that it took about 6 months for the incompetents in the WH to figure out that most Americans just don't want to hear their 'Dear Leader' drone on about the state of Bush-fault - especially in prime-time slots.
2 1/2 weeks after he was inaugurated, and he's already fed up?
Any reasonable person would recognize that the problematic attitude there is coming from the person objecting to the press conference, NOT the person hosting the press conference!
