How foolish of me! Sarah Palin wins again.
Anyway, for all your love of Palin and everything else unholy, it's probably still good to remember that she lost the election. And then she quit her job. And then she wrote "taxes" on her hand to remind herself what to talk about.
By hey, you want to go on respecting and supporting a loser, a quitter, and an intellectual midget go right ahead.
First Murtha was a WAR hero who risked his life for his country [Bronze Star with Valor, two Purple Hearts, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and Distinguished Service Medal]. Second, what Murtha said about the Marines in Iraq was criticism of the GOVERNMENT, not the MARINES. I know that Fox and the rest of the Lords of Loud took the comments out of context in order to protect GWB's A**, but what Murtha was saying was that the longer that our troops were being subjected to the conditions they were facing in Iraq, the more incidents like Hadaitha would occur. He was CRITICIZING the GOVERNMENT.
Opps, Maybe not.
Howe's words say more about the sort of person Caleb Howe is than anything accurate about Jack Murtha.
oh wait, we did have someone like this running the country, his name was Dick Cheney.

And of course, "Don't you f--- DARE try to treat him like some kind of military hero. What the f---? Are you retarded? I'm asking." This is classic bullying, using violent rhetoric to be 'persuasive.' This is, in a nutshell, the modern conservative movement. It moves up and down in scale from 'Are you retarded? I'm asking,' to 'Tell me that the US is being attacked by terrorists or I'll waterboard you again,' to 'Suck on this.'
Murtha *was* a military hero, and a civic one, too. No amount of overcompensation and speaking ill of the dead on Howe's part will change that. Part of Murtha's heroism was to stand up to petty tyrants like Howe just when it was needed. That's why they hate him.
He's just out for attention, any attention. He's not worth it.
