It takes a real lack of awareness to think that Obama is beholden to the teleprompter, especially in comparison to his predecessor.

I can see nothing other than racism as the root of these accusations. Some people simply cannot admit that a black man could be intelligent.

Even with a teleprompter, and 8 years of experience, Bush looked awkward right up to the end. Whenever Bush spoke, you could sense his supporters cringing. Since he was such an embarrassment, they feel they have to go all out attacking Obama, since Obama's pretty at ease in front of the camera (maybe too much so!).

Bush wasn't comfortable with teleprompters. He had difficulty reading from them, apparently because of his learning difficulties which are assumed to be dyslexia or something similar. He had his speeches written up on regular cue cards.

[I'm not dissing someone for having learning difficulties, for the record. My very intelligent son has a diagnosed learning difficulty, dysgraphia . . . he has overcome it.]

Farcical. Or in K-Lo's case, fartsicle.

Hey I don't remember Obama using a teleprompter during the question/answer fora that the Presidenct conducted with members of Congress. Oh but on those occasions, Limbaugh points and laughs whenever Obama pauses in mid-train of thought, or stutters momentarily as he searches for a word.

But remember the media favors liberals.

I took her tweet to mean that she'd heard 3 teleprompter jokes from people reading off a teleprompter.

Any smart person uses a teleprompter to give prepared remarks to an audience.

That way, they don't waste time memorizing their speech and they don't let their audience watch the top of their head because they're reading from a paper copy.

I wonder how the teleprompter jokes are written on the teleprompter...<start scroll>

And we have a socialist presence in the White House who has the

presence of mind to make sure everything is written down for

him...on his ever present teleprompter (pause for laughter,

applause and rehearsed shouts of USA USA USA)
