Bill O'Reilly, When will a Gay or Lesbian Guest Host your Show?
What is it about Gays & Lesbians that makes you say no?
Didn't Media Matters ask you to stop being a Homophobe?
Can't you see how Gays & Lesbians are being accepted across the Globe?

      Speak truth to power.

Webster's New World College Dictionary ยป

      noun

      1. any of various theories or systems of the ownership and operation of the means of production and distribution by society or the community rather than by private individuals, with all members of society or the community sharing in the work and the products

      2. a political movement for establishing such a system
the doctrines, methods, etc. of the Socialist parties
the stage of society, in Marxist doctrine, coming between the capitalist stage and the communist stage, in which private ownership of the means of production and distribution has been eliminated

O'Reilly is correct, and these definitions support his comments, especially since private enterprise is still alive and kicking. All of the noise and labels being used by some conservatives has been, as I already knew, a lame attempt to distract the American people from the real challenges we face.

And before some troll comes here and tries to muddy the waters about HCR being socialism, I must say that under HCR you will still buy your health care from a private company. If HCR were changing our economic system from a mixed economy to a socialist economy, the HCR bill would outlaw all privately owned health care companies, but it doesn't.

Minor quibble: did you have to grab a screencap of the guy when he was licking his lips? Ugh, hello, nightmares.

Damn, you made me look, so I'll give you one back.
Take a look at his ears--aren't they starting to look a lot like LBJ's? Pleasant dreams.

The issue that MMFA raises with this posting isn't whether or not Obama is a socialist. That's irrelevant to the point they're making.

What they're talking about is the way the question is framed?

It's not a fair and balanced way to ask a question. It's not the way a legitimate news organization would behave.

And you're just trying to derail the conversation away from the disingenuous way O'Reilly posed the question.

By all means, how does one "legitimately" ask if a particular individual is a socialist then? Is it a lie that Billo doesn't think the president is, yet others do?
