From a March 2 article in the New York Post titled "ACORN set up by vidiots: DA":

The NY Post is owned by News Corporation, the parent company of Fox News Channel.

Didn't need a news article to come to this conclusion... anyone with half a brain could have figured out the tapes were nothing but worthless propaganda...

It still infuriates me that the government, even democrats, were preemptively judging ACORN.

It's certainly never been hard to stampede Democrats into appeasing right-wingers.

What I want to know is whether there will be criminal charges (or civil motions, at least) for these attempts to incriminate and defame people.

I hope the governments that wasted tens of thousands of dollars on this worthless matter will bill the idiots who made the videoes.

And I hope ACORN sues them into penury.

I'm sure Sheer "Am i An Idiot?" InSannity will cover this new development in great detail...between advertisements for his new "book," of course.

Okay... so a Rupert Murdoch paper is now running with the story that the ACORN tapes are bunk. Will his networks? Will his on air talents? O'Reilly? Beck? Hannity?

Is there going to be an offer of apology from this network, members of congress, or anyone else who reported this completely bogus and debunked story that resulted in terribly damaging repercussions for an organization that was totally undeserving?

If this is the "new journalism" then no one is safe. If we can't get legitimate goods on ya, then we are going to break you trying to defend yourself against false attacks that we never intend to retract until the damage is done.

A big fat "duh" for this, except for the people who wondered why we were more concerned with O'Keefe's pimp outfit than with what ACORN did. Those people learned something.
