Un Original. How many more times can you guys call us Nazis throughout the remainder of Obama's 2nd term? The comparison is freakin' ridiculous, and not even remotely close. It's stupid, and if that's what you guys have to criticize about, well, I'm pretty happy with our chances in the mid terms.
You guys were apoplectic when one person made an ad, that was taken down, that compared Bush to a Nazi, and yet, here you guys are doing it. Every. Single. Day. It's insulting to people who actually suffered under the Nazis, and it's insulting to the people who you are throwing it at. Mostly, because there have really been no Presidents, or major political parties that have ever come CLOSE to being Nazis.
Bizarre, isn't it. Working on the assumption that most Americans are stupid, they keep trotting out these stupid comparisons. But i say, let 'em. All it does is assure large groups of voters that the opposition is stupid, and not worthy of a vote. They will cause themselves a November surprise this year, and President Obama will clean their clocks in '12.
Working on the assumption that most Americans are stupid...
If not most Americans, at least a minority of ignorant-Americans significant enough to affect elections.
I guess this shouldn't come as a surprise at all ( or seem "original", as Magnolialover mentioned). The mainstream media has been hammering the word "socialist" for a couple of years now, to describe anything outside of the right wing fantasy world of the uncontrolled free market.
The more extreme fringes of the right wing media, with the most easily manipulated audience, has been emphasizing the word "socialist" in the official name of the NAZI party, convincing those who slept through history class that Hitler was a liberal.
This is just the natural result of all of that stupidity finally coming together in a big stupid goulash. Expect the trained monkeys who post at this site using terms like "Obamacare", "Nanny State", "Democrat Party" and "Statist" to follow Gellers instructions immediately.
Geller's Atlas Shrugs website had 248 unique visitors for the month of January, down 90 percent from the spike in August '09 during the height of townhall madness. Pam, you go girl!
I suspect you got the thumbs down because the picture highlights the absurdity of the hyperbole and takes away from the fun of the opposition calling the current president Hitler.
And just what does Geller expect the world to think of the fact that she even has a career, speaking this way about Democrats, when she herself has cavorted with real fascists?
Oh, Pam... no one, not even friends, give a damn what you think.
