        Hey seahawks, your effort is commendable, but your kickin an empty can. They don't care about fraud or illegal activity. You could show them irrefutable proof and it wouldn't matter. They'd just ramble on about Bush and Limbaugh and FOX. I mean, we all saw the tape. Listen, these people are brainwashed. Most of them have been told by everyone, from Hollywood, childhood teachers, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, to major newspapers, that Gov't is the answer for all of mans' imperfect existence. They don't care about right and wrong, or freedom and liberty. They wont get it till it's too late, but I still love you crazy people! So save your fingers, the people on this site are TRUE BELIEVERS. I do get a kick outta trollin the site every once in a while. So much anger. Your guy is president, enjoy it. The rest of the country is suffering, so you guys might as well have a good time!

      Quick fact - Not one single fraudulent vote has ever been shown to have been a result of ACORN activities.

      Another quick fact - O'Keefe's videos didn't show a single ACORN worker engaging in illegal activities. They didn't show a single ACORN worker providing assistance in setting up a prostitution ring, underage or otherwise.

      Got any other unsubstantiated talking points to throw out for discussion?

            You need to register to vote and the ones that registered more that once voted more then once, maybe even some of the dead people ACORN registered prob voted through a serrogate.

              BTW, you're wrong.

              Voter registration fraud was committed AGAINST ACORN. Their hourly workers submitted false registration forms in order to get paid. Those fraudulent forms were tagged and submitted to state voting officials. No evidence that any of those with false registration ever voted. Since only the hourly worker was aware of them . . . no one to vote anyway.

Give it up, DD. No one is doing what you tell them to do. You're not elevating the discourse.           Don't know the difference between Voter Registration Fraud and Voter Fraud, do you?

          Again, where do you see that a single fraudulant VOTE has ever occured due to ACORN? Voter registration fraud does not = voter fraud....

          Get your stinking facts straight, and let's not forget that ACORN is required to turn in ALL registration cards by law, even when they KNOW they are fraudulant.

              Voter registration fraud is not a felony. And people have been charged and convicted of registration fraud. Mostly poor people gaming the system in order to make some more money signing up people multiple times with those legendary voters Mickey Mouse and Harry Potter.

              Exactly, and the registration fraud was committed AGAINST ACORN. ACORN hired hourly workers to register people. Some of the hourly workers didn't want to work, so they made up voter registration forms in order to get paid. They turned them in to ACORN who, in turn, tagged the ones which appeared false and TURNED THEM IN TO VOTING OFFICIALS.

              Seriously, seahawks, are you really that uninformed? Or, is it your mistaken belief that you have to hate anyone and anything that Fox/hate talk radio tells you to hate just so you can say you are a "conservative"? [which you are not.]

                  Seahawks, in order for one to be a "Republican [or a Democrat] in Name Only," one must be a Republican [or a Democrat]. I am neither. As I have stated, I don't believe in political clubs. There is no provision for them in the Constitution . . . they are simply money makers.

                    bintx, I found the Thomas Jefferson quote I was looking for re: political parties. Going to WikiQuote, I found that part of the paragraph was already there, so I added the appropriate section (expanding the quote). It's from a letter to Francis Hopkinson, and the relevant section is: "If I could not go to heaven but with a party, I would not go there at all."

                    It's in the 1780's section, just before the end.

              Actually, it is a misdemeanor, and in every case it has been shown that it was employees who were attempting to defraud ACORN by filling out fraudulent registration forms in order to receive a bonus.

              So in these cases, ACORN was a victim of fraud and reported more than 80% of the known fraudulent registration forms and reported the employees, as they are required to by law.

          It doesn't matter. In all of those hours no one has produced one single example of a fraudulent vote cast as a result of ACORN activities. My statement of fact maintains its accuracy.

          That doesn't take away from its attraction as a conservative talking point during campaign season. Believe it or not, in the special election to replace Charlie Norwood, we very nearly had an even bigger idiot than Paul Broun elected in GA-10, a guy named Jim Whitehead, who once said Democrats were trying their best to register illegal aliens to vote, "including known al-Qaeda terrorists," which has to be the most patently stupid example I could possibly think of. The vote was actually very close.
