Geller: Obama is "is itching for a civil war. And at the rate he is going, he is going to get one"

June 23, 2010 6:04 pm ET by Media Matters staff

From a June 23 post titled "Forecast: Blood On The Streets," at Atlas Shrugs:

If the king decrees that all illegals will be granted amnesty, I can assure you that America will not go quietly. If you recall the last time partial amnesty was broached under the Bush administration (when both parties actually worked together), millions took to the streets and voted it down -- and that was before the phenomenon known as the "tea parties."

It is increasingly clear that the most divisive President in history is itching for a civil war. And at the rate he is going, he is going to get one -- if he continues to ignore the will of the American people.

Why is Geller - who called Obama a "third worlder" - on CNN?

Beck still beating war drums: "I think we're headed for a civil war"

Should what she is advocating happens, her azz will be so far back in a bunker with the other top cowards (Cheney, Palin, Beck, Hannity, Murdoch, Ailes, Boehner, Cantor, Limbaugh, etc) that no one will be able to find them to make a comment on how it's all Obama's fault.

      We're lovers, not fighters, Pam.

Maybe you could use some lovin'...you know, to take that edge off. You always look tense. Not that I would be willing to volunteer for that duty... ;>)

I get a feeling she'll be just as dumbfounded when her next relationship goes bad as she was recently when PayPal severed all ties with her for linking them to a hate site, which she audaciously calls 'censorship.'

This person has confused Beck with Obama. Wow, that's really spooky. I mean, Beck looks NOTHING like Obama.

Not even two years into his first term and "they" have already decided that Obama is the most divisive President in history.

      Whose will is he ignoring??
The Tea Baggers (ahem) Party? The Neo-Cons? The Flat Earthers?
What about the other 80% of American that doesn't subscribe to those belief systems.

Pam, why do you hate America??

Too bad he couldn't be a uniter like Dubya...

Funny you didn't have a problem when the last guy was installed by the Supreme Court.

Sure, to the extent that "cravenly rolling over" is synonymous with "working together".

The democrats did. Bush wanted it (whatever "it" was at the time, more war funding, patriot act, etc, etc...). And when Bush didn't get his way, he cried and ranted about it, called democrats un-American, and un-Patriotic, in league with the terrorists, and so on.

The democrats (most of them at least, there were some hold outs, like Kucinich, Feingold) rolled over, and gave Bush what he wanted for fear of being branded as terrorist sympathizers.

The most divisive president is history? Obama has, to a fault, bent over backwards to try to placate conservatives. It's driven most of us to distraction, his willingness to play Charlie Brown to their Lucy, pulling the ball away every single time.

The talk on the right is both murderous and treasonous, and deserves to be called both.

Exactly. For example, health care bill? It basically got shaped to almost exactly what republicans wanted, and yet, they still railed against it. Heck, it was almost the same exact bill that republicans brought forth back in the early 90's, and it wasn't good enough, it was socialism, and communism run afoul.

I for one, have been of the opinion that from the day of Inauguration forward, Obama should concentrate on what DEMOCRATS want, and ignore the republicans, because they made it abundantly clear, they weren't going to work with the President, or the democrats, for really any rhyme of reason.
