UPDATED: Welcome to a long, hot summer of right-wing race baiting. Or, paging Matt Drudge

No longer feeling any hesitation or social awkwardness about playing the race card, hard, against Obama, I noted last week that the offensive race baiting unleashed by the conservative press has become epidemic. 

Case in point,  The Drudge Report. Note this headline from Friday. 

RACE CASE: HOLDER TO REVIEW OAKLAND SHOOTING

And note this headline from Sunday: 

RACE CASE: Holder May Slap AZ With Profiling Suit...

That's right. In the span of 48 hours, Drudge hyped two separate news stories about our black POTUS and his black Attorney General with the same "RACE CASE" headline.

Pretty subtle stuff, eh?

      The next will be RACE CASE: Holder decides not to pursue charges in black panther intimidation case.(Even though charges were dropped because their wasn't a single victim that came forward saying they were intimidated). Right wing media stories = baseless hearsay blowing in the wind

      Or in other words. The NeadnderCons are getting desperate. They tried to make hay of BP and blew it. They tried to make Health care and the economy pay off and failed. They have been on the wrong side of every issue near and dear to the American Public all year. The NeanderCons have tried to control the narrative and have ultimately failed miserably. AND SO NOW THEY PLAY THE RACE CARD!! Get ready! This could get ugly!

        It will get ugly. They always play the race card, religion card or the gun card when they want to rally that base of locos. Surprisingly enough, it seems to work everytime.

          Just clinging on to my guns and religion. The race card has been exclusively in the control of the left. The left has used it so much in such a careless way as to make it public domain. It has been rendered pretty much a useless card anymore. I can see where there can be valid uses but lefties can't help themselves from using the "nuclear" option everytime they cannot sustain a viable arguement.

            Feel free to give examples of the media using racism in any way that helps democratic candidates.

            Or where the unsupported accusation played any part in a political contest.

            No doubt an unsupported statement has come from democratic lips on this. Probably not from anyone I'd support.

            The race card has been exclusively in the control of the left.

            Yeah, that's why Teh Left is so feverishly obsessed with Jeremiah Wright, obscure black supremacist groups, and whether or not Mexicans are "outbreeding" us.
