CNN’s Crowley blames Obama for persistence of Muslim myth

August 20, 2010 6:00 pm ET by Karl Frisch

CNN’s Candy Crowley told Politico’s John Harris that President Obama is to blame for the persistent myth that he is a Muslim.

As Politico’s Keach Hagey notes:

Candy Crowley, host of CNN’s “State of the Union,” thought the myth persisted because of “the lack of any kind of evidence to the contrary,” noting that President George W. Bush was often seen going to church while Obama goes less often.

It couldn't have anything to do with the FOXtards, Hate Radio Troglodytes and Internet Neanderthals repeating the lie on a daily basis for two years, could it? No, of course not.

Obama went to a Christian Church for over 20 years, and they blasted him for that, too. Obama is doing the precisely correct thing by ignoring the Troglodytic Right.

Even if a twenty plus year membership in a Christian church doesn't convince them you would think all that ham he chows down on would make it kinda obvious? Wouldn'tcha?

Couple of things here. First, all of the people that keep pushing this and reporting this should have to state exactly what their faith is, the name of their Church and how often they attend. And be ready to provide documentation.
Second, think about this, with the polls showing so many Americans are wondering about President Obama's faith, what exactly do you think would happen if President Obama went on National TV and said every American must tell him what their faith is, what they believe in, where they go to Church, and how often. Now how many Americans would say "Heck no, you have no right to ask us those questions about religion".

Turning an argument on its head is usually interesting, often calarifying.

If its anyone's business (If so send money),I'm thinking of starting The Unreformed Church of the Flaming Anchovy!

A mate of mine once started The Cosmic Church of Universal Uncertainty. Their credo was "I think, therefore I am, I think?"

I never go to church, but no one calls me a muslim. Heck, they don't even call me an atheist.

I bet Canday Crowley doesn't see Obama constantly kissing his wife either. So through Crowley's logic, Obama just may very well be gay since he is not doing anything to disprove to her he is not.

If there is an elite, Serious Person talking point du jour, she is guaranteed to spouting it.

Candy Crowley is one of the worst whatevers they call on CNN....she along with Blitzer and King do nothing but parrot GOP attacks.

That is why CNN is losing customers....they are worst than Fox...why because you know what Fox....is....but we really see how weak CNN is.

So, how often must one go to church in order to meet Crowley's absurd standard of evidence?

Candy Crowley go get a job at FOX.

No Candy is right as home with the other Republican tools on CNN like John King, Wolf Blitzer, John Roberts, David Gergen, Anderson Cooper, etc. MMFA used to notice it all the time a few years ago. But now with their obsession with the Far Right, CNN's lies seem almost reasonable to MMFA, so most of the time they let it slide.

But thanks for noticing this time MMFA,

        John

Candy Crowley is one of the reasons I don't watch CNN. The Most Trusted Name in News my eye. She simply parrots whatever the GOP talking points are for any given day.
